The Secret Garden

The Secret Garden was one of those stand out book memories that I have. I once received the Secret Garden colouring in book, and I'm 100% sure the Derwent pencils were sharpened up and up for it.

I picked up this copy at dymocks yesterday, they have 20% off at the moment, and it is simply beautiful. It's annotated and has pictures from past copies and movies.
Jut for Flashback Friday sake, I found this picture a few months back. You were really lucky if you got Derwent Pencils for your birthday!!

Aw man the secret garden is one of my all time favourites! I love the movie and book so much that once when i was missing a book for a year 11 english study assignment, I used the book without even reading it. haha.

Oh and derwents, man you had to be super best friends to borrow those off a class mate! Lucky!

The day I got my tin of 72 derwents was easily the highlight of my childhood. Seriously.

So glad I got to see your GORGEOUS face in Melbs - who'd have known such a pretty lady was hiding in there behind the sausage dog?

I have something funny to share with you - can I pinch your email address?

I was always so jealous of the kids that had the real deal Derwent pencils. In the tin too!

It's very uncanny... I haven't been to visit for ages (my work will not allow your blog because it has 'sausage' in it's name) and my post today was about this very same subject...
I loved "The Secret Garden" too.

Just realised the reason my work won't allow access to your site is the word boob in boobook. THAT makes FAR more sense! Funny.
