Mr Electron

Look at this Lad.

Angela, the ever clever pretty lady from sew your own, has come up with the perfect sewing project for young boys!
Moca and I welcome...Mr Electron!!

Super fast, super cute, super smart and with Lightening bolts!!
I think that young boys will be nagging mums for the sewing machine!

Angela will be at Magnolia Square, a square I have never visited, with Allison from Lark over the next couple of days!
Hopefully I can fly by to meet Mr Electron himself! I wonder if he'll give me his autograph!

Softie for Mirabel

Softie for Mirabel

Softie for Mirabel

Last night me and the heater had a crack at making a One Red Robin Ruby Doll

Jhoanna she was so much fun to make. thank you!!

It was my first time making a doll where the legs and arms all get tucked in.

She is a little wonky in some places, but it all adds to the charm.

I did manage to add a sausage dog brooch for Miss Ruby too. Moca was extra happy!!

If you haven't heard about the Mirabel Softie Appeal or want to get involved click on those links to find out more!

This is number one for me.

Sunday Supper

Cameralised Bananas with Pauls Custard!

This is good and warming and tummy happy stuff.

All you need is:

Bananas
Brown Sugar

Cinnamon
Butter

Oven
Fry Pan

Pre heat oven at 180 degrees.
In an oven proof dish place bananas, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon.
Place in oven cook for 10mins or until the butter and sugar have formed a syrup.
Remove from the oven and transfer the bananas into a frying pan.
Cook until the syrup and bananas are golden and toffee like.
This is the easy good and dangerous bit.
Go to the fridge, get the Paul Custard (only 6grams of fat for every 100g - good bit) and scoop as much as you like into a bowl.
Top with bananas and that is my Cameralised Banana with Pauls Custard, Sunday Supper!!

Sunday Supper

This is my take on:

Meet me at Mikes Sunday Supper

Water Bottle Cover.

1. I found some fabrics that i liked
2. I got some paper and traced around the bottom of the bottle to get the size for the base.
3. More paper!  I laid the bottle down and marked the bottom and the top of the bottle on the paper. I picked a spot on the bottle then rolled it until the spot reached the other side of the paper. This makes for the body.
4. Used some fabric that was kindly given to me and cut out the pattern.
5. Sew them all together. Add a touch of gingham to hold the bottle in and make a bow. I just like gingham and bows really!
6. You have a really CUTE water bottle cover!!

I like it when you set out to do something and it works!!
20min craft projects are even better!!!
I also love that it's Brown Owls tonight!!!

I'm not much of a shoe girl. I'll find one pair, wear them out, then buy another and do exactly the same thing all over again.

I can't upload my own pictures, due to some little Sausage dog kicking my computer onto the ground and making the Card reader smash into 6 bits. The computer is a ok. Macs are really strong. It's the second time it's happened in it's life and it just keeps of working!! Lucky it has insurance, just incase!

This is my day three of my , Week of Vintage Australia hosted by Gemma over at Meet me at Mikes!!

These are my Australian Golden Books.
I love the illustrations in Little Binjy and just discovered that I have two copies!!
I remember watching the adventures of Skippy on Saturday afternoons.
Hop Little Kangaroo, is a sweet little story. I especially like that Kangaroos can make Sweet Berry Pie. But most of all when mother Kangaroo tells her little one " you can do anything, if you try".

Thanks to the internet for the photos.
