I went to this beautiful boy and his beautiful brothers, end of school play the other night.
It was time for saying good-bye to the grade six students, and many tears flowed over the friends that are moving on.
When I was in grade six our music teacher wrote a song that is still used to this day.
It goes something like this....
"Good-bye Sorrento Primary School,
I'm leaving you behind,
I'm moving on to another School,
New friends I hope to find.
Thank- you to all you teachers,
thank-you for what your done,
We really do believe,
That Sorrento's Number 1.
We have been through a lot together,
Some good times and some bad,
I really do believe that my primary years
Were the best I've ever had.
Good-Bye Sorrento Primary School,
I'm leaving you behind,
I'm moving on to another School,
New Friends I hope to find,
I'm moving on to another School,
Neeeeeew Friends I hope to Find!
Oh the memories of it all. Crimped hair, art classes, dalling ball, library assistant, lunch order monitors, school camps. I guess they were the best!!
