Image via flickr I LOVED Rainbow Brite when I was little! Rainbow, Starlite, The Colour Kids and the Sprites all lived in a wonderful place called Rainbow Land. The Sprites would mine colour crystals into Star Sprinkles. Then with little star shaped cookie cutters that they attached to there feet, the Star Sprinkles were made. If the world was looked dull and gloomy Starlite would let them know. Starlite was Rainbow brites horse that traveled along rainbows looking over the land.
This is how mine is coming along. It feels great to have the time to be crafty. After I finish this one, I'm going to do this one. Thank you to the nice person who sent me the link!! I think it will look super sweet hanging on the front door in a hoop. I just need to convince my house mates now.
I got a new dress. Had dumplings. Had a long neck or 4. Caught up with some friends. Now i'm in a sleepy beery haze. I'm glad my sickness wasn't a longer event. You can achieve so much when your head is minus the bricks that were once there!! I'm really looking forward to December!! And tomorrow too!! Actually this entire week to be quite honest!! YIPPEE xoxx Brooke and Moca
I have finished Uni!! Yippee I have just printed off Pippy's Christmas Stocking PDF!! Spotlight here we come! Yippee I have some nice new and not so new things in my room!! Yippee I've been watching Stylista back to back!! Yippee again Pippy!! My super special friend is due back from OS in 4 and 1/2 days!! YIPPEE Being stick in bed, not so nice, but I have a lot of things to look forward to. It's sure to make the pain go away!
This Saturday Morning... = my favourite morning. = drinking " The best coffee EVER", yep I said it, BEST Coffee ever, from Kappaya! = I turned into a coffee snob = meeting nice crafty families = Collingwood Children's Farm Farmers Market = bed hair all day = Sewing = 400th POST!!! oh + 1 = listening to new music
image from here I was bound to find some friends in my hair. I think 24 years and not one single little creature living in my hair, is quite defiant! I mean they are kind of cute, but then I could maybe be trying to justify the fact that they shouldn't be there, that hearing the word "Head lice" is all you need to start scratching at your head. Pippi Longsocking = my Kinder style guru from now on!! .....Now where can I get me a monkey?
ahhh so much fun. Best friends over, working with the kids, making art work with the kids, laughing with the kids, laughing with best friend, races with best friend....sun love and lots of memories. Oh and I might just be Postman's Pats new girlfriend!!
image from here Car warmth. But not from the heater. From the car being in the Sun and getting all warmed up on any day apart from in the summer. I remember falling asleep in front of my bedroom window in the sun when I was little. I also loved drawing in my Nans sunny drawing room too. But Car warmth I loved the most hands down. Thanks to Vic for the theme (it's had me stumped all week) and to Angela too.
The sewing drought has been with me for quite sometime. You may or may not have noticed, but today we did!! After coffee with the New Frankie and Pippy, this is what happened!! It's made from this Vintage Tea Towel and Vintage Table Cloth, all 100% op shop loved!! It was hard to cut them up, but keeping them folded up didn't seem fair to them.
We are looking forward to our first outing together!!
