Stitching Night and Mirabel
I start this at the end of Stitching night.
I then made myself stay awake until 2.30 to finish him off.
With the inspiring Softies that Kirsty and Pei Pei dropped off last night, I decided to get to work on my Softie for Mirabel this morning.
I think its going to be a long rewarding day!

I just ADORE this video
Oh Miss Sarah Blasko....
I just saw this video on telly!
Everything about the video is great!!
From milk bar milkshake cups, vanilla slices, dusting, dresses, falling in love, piano love, dancing in petrol stations, rose ring boxes, giving birth to baby pianos, laughing with hands, water fights...oh I just have so much love for it.
I giggle and smile every time I watch it.
It's such a great love to have.
Sarah Blasko has been nominated for 4 Aria's. The include:
- Engineer of the Year
- Best Cover Art
- Best Female Artist
- Best Pop Release
I'm sending by all my well wishing esp's.
Mocas favourite song from the album is Hammer. He runs around ta-whit-ta-whooing.
Thats what sausage dogs do best!

Flashback Friday- Favourite Activity
For as long as I can remember I've loved horses.
With this memory comes Darryl Braithwaites - Horses...'thats the way it's gonna be little darling, we go riding on the horses yeah yeah...'
I had a cabinet that was home to all of my My Little Ponies.
Maybe the reason why I watch Mcleods Daughters and since thats finished,
The farmer needs a wife!
This picture was taken at my best friend Laura's horse riding school. Lucky I was her best friend!
Happy Flashback Friday

oh pretty things
I went to Mag Nation today. Frankie turned 20. So I received a free pink cup cake when purchasing my copy!
I also went to lincraft (I just wish they were happy) and past the shop that always has back in 5mins. Why not write a time so I know how long your 5mins will be?!
I popped into Mikes for lamingtons coffee and laughter.
Then after watching a dove get squished by a car and hearing it all and seeing it all, I walked with my hand over my mouth in shock to Clegs.
Rest in peace little birdy.

snaps of apples
How good is it when you get one of your friends to start a blog.
You start talking about analytics, how to add links, load photos and where to find the post you just lost. Well I think it was worth it!
Go have a look at Alex's blog. If you leave a comment i'm sure my next lesson will be "how do I read them lady"

Thrifted Tuesday
I found this fabric yesterday.
I was called lovey by the op shop lady and told the shoes I found were just beautiful. Such a shame they didn't fit me.
Lucky they fitted one of my friends so I know I will see them every now and then.
The little rabbit print is from back home. It's on a calico draw string bag.
I have a habbit of hiding things to see if they are there next time I head home. Is this bad?
Moca hasn't featured in a while, so here is a shot of him and his girlfriend stell.
Happy Thrifted Tuesday.

the secrect of love
I found this book the other day.
It's about two friends that share the equal amount of love for the same flower.
It's wordless with beautiful pencil sketched illustrations.
I gave it to a friend as a "Happy Australian Citizenship" present.
Oh and this is what my breakfast looked like today and yesterday. I didn't manage to find the smiley eggs. I think they take things a little too serious in Brighton! (i can't wait to move)
some 7am picked flowers too.
(dolly says hi crafty fairy)

Sunny Smiles
One good thing about previous occupants not redirecting mail is getting there mail.
I found this super cute add for eggs that have smiles. Each egg is stamped with a smile and the chickens are feed Australian grown grains and plant nutrients!
I love smiling. Eggs that smile...well thats even better.
Even more so is that they are Yellow when beaten up!! I love Yellow!!
They have a fun website for kids. I even manage to find out that the Humming Bird lays the smallest egg. It's only 3cm long!
It was a busy weekend my way. Quick dash home to FINALLY get Moca back from mum.
Then up early to head back for work. Lucy's Birthday on the same day.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUCE"
Lots of drinking and eating and just laying about.
Yesterday was too hot for anything but good for a late dinner at Vegie Bar. It was great to catch up with good friends and laugh constantly from start to finish. Vegie Bar Sangria is extra good!
I'm off to have eggs on toast with Avocado Tomato and Mushrooms!!! Yum O!!

Sarah Blasko....
I can't seem to sleep.
I just realised today that, i've been waking up a lot earlier than I first thought.
Today it was 5.45am!!
Ouch I say especially when I worked all day and it's now 11.50pm!!
But today I watched Sarah Blasko on Sunrise. Such a talent that girl and so cute and dorky.
I was looking on YouTube, something I haven't actually done before.
Watch the video to see what made me feel giddy then and again now.
I saw Sarah at the start of the year and she was amazing!!
I think this might be the reason why i've been listening to this song flat out for the past 3 weeks. It was trying to tell me something!
I think I can sleep now

Mum still has the Lolly jar that we had as kids. I found it yesterday.
I remember it being empty rather than full. Mum wasn't much of a sweets fan!

A quick dash home
Moca was attacked by our friends dog on Monday.
After crying and mum informing me he was ok, i headed home to see him.
He has a very nasty bite on his back and a few more near his belly and legs but apart from that he is fine.
My poor little sausage!
Moca is back home resting up and taking it easy with mum. Lucky I have Dolly until he returns. I really do miss him alot.
Happy Wednesday

Flashback Friday - Nanna Technology
Me and my brother. I love this knitted snake. I don't know if my Nan made it. What i love is that my brother loved me so much that he would take me where ever he would go. This resulted in me walking at 18months of age!
My nans arn't alive but i remember that:
Nanna Stokes taught me how to fish. She would catch the little fish and put them in a bucket for me to play with. The first fish i caught was a eel!!
Nanna Hickford taught me to draw, play lawn bowls and love gardening!
Happy Flashback Friday!
