I LOVED Rainbow Brite when I was little!
Rainbow, Starlite, The Colour Kids and the Sprites all lived in a wonderful place called Rainbow Land.
The Sprites would mine colour crystals into Star Sprinkles. Then with little star shaped cookie cutters that they attached to there feet, the Star Sprinkles were made.
If the world was looked dull and gloomy Starlite would let them know. Starlite was Rainbow brites horse that traveled along rainbows looking over the land.

No wonder I like this room a lot!!

You can achieve so much when your head is minus the bricks that were once there!!
I'm really looking forward to December!! And tomorrow too!! Actually this entire week to be quite honest!! YIPPEE

My super special friend is due back from OS in 4 and 1/2 days!! YIPPEE

I was bound to find some friends in my hair.
I think 24 years and not one single little creature living in my hair, is quite defiant!
I mean they are kind of cute, but then I could maybe be trying to justify the fact that they shouldn't be there, that hearing the word "Head lice" is all you need to start scratching at your head.
Pippi Longsocking = my Kinder style guru from now on!!

the past week

ahhh so much fun. Best friends over, working with the kids, making art work with the kids, laughing with the kids, laughing with best friend, races with best friend....sun love and lots of memories. Oh and I might just be Postman's Pats new girlfriend!!

Car warmth. But not from the heater. From the car being in the Sun and getting all warmed up on any day apart from in the summer.
I remember falling asleep in front of my bedroom window in the sun when I was little. I also loved drawing in my Nans sunny drawing room too. But Car warmth I loved the most hands down.

The sewing drought has been with me for quite sometime.
You may or may not have noticed, but today we did!!
After coffee with the New Frankie and Pippy, this is what happened!!
It's made from this Vintage Tea Towel and Vintage Table Cloth, all 100% op shop loved!!
It was hard to cut them up, but keeping them folded up didn't seem fair to them.

We are looking forward to our first outing together!!
