First Walk....

Dear Pippy,
You will be super proud.
I went to TSL.
I got some leggings.
So tomorrow morning I'm going to go for a walk!!
My first walk.
My first Mikes International Walking Team walk.
I will collect flowers.
I have planned to plant some seedings too, in a wicker dolls pram that I found at the oppy today!!
This will be the song to start my day!!
One question: What is the earliest time that there is enough light to walk?

On my desk....

Today was good.
I've been sick which isn't so good.
So I took the day off, to just rest.
My doctor friend told me it's the best medicine.
So I dragged the spare mattress out into the sun with some reading, some embroidery and some painting/hooping/cutting/flowering/sticking.

My desk was on my front porch today.
This lovely lady gave me the Best folder for uni!!
I also was lucky to find some really lovely books this week and some great fabric too.
I've been reading up on Reggio Emilia. A happy way for children to develop!!
Oh and a big thank you to Gillian for sending me "A Dogs Life".
Your right Gemma, it does sound like Peeep.

Mikes Sunday Supper....Peanut Butter Anzacs

Soooo....while we were making Anzacs on Thursday night, I was looking at the Peanut Butter Jar and thought "What about Peanut Butter Anzacs".
Maybe these have been done before?
I'm not too sure?! So correct me if I haven't come up with the best tasting Biscuits I've eaten in my life, to date!!

Peanut Butter Anzacs

3/4 Cup Rolled Oats
1/2 Cup Sugar
3/4 Cup Plain Flour
2 tablespoons golden syrup
1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
2 tablespoons of boiling water
1/2 cups butter, melted
1 and a half tablespoons of Peanut Butter, Melted

1. Set Oven at 160 degrees celius
2. Mix Oats, Sugar and Flour
3. Mix Golden Syrup, soda and boiling water.
While frothing, add melted Butter and Peanut Butter then pour into dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
4. Drop spoonfuls of mixture onto tray allowing room for mixture to spread.
5. Bake at 160 until they are golden

Enjoy my friends.
Oh and so you know, I like my Anzacs chewy!

Whats your pets name/names? Focaccia Moo Cow/ Focaccia/ Caccie/ Miss Moo/ Caccie Moo
How old? 10 and a half-ish
Where do they sleep? on the people bed when possible, in the sun anywhere, otherwise in the cat bed - in that order
What is his or her breed? Crazy bitch!
Any special tricks/talent? playing nicely with small children (although she's less of a fan now she's a senior citizen), beating up yappy small dogs - seriously, she owns the street.
What do you think your pet was in a previous life? A mobster, cranky old biddy or possibely a dictator

Your Pet...by Luce

Whats your pets name/names? His name is Maximus the Great but we call him Max or Maxie
How old? He is 14 years old
Where do they sleep? On a pillow and blanket next to my bed
What is his or her breed? He is a pure-bred Cocker Spaniel
Any special tricks/talent? He can sleep an entire day and still be tired. Oh at 14 years old he learned to use a doggy door when my dad put it it! You can teach an old dog new tricks!! Plus he can sit, shake hands, roll over
What do you think your pet was in a previous life? A sloth....because they sleep a lot or actually a human because he eats human food and wants to chill with humans not other animals....especially not moca the excitable sausage dog.

Luce is right, Moca and Maxie have a love hate relationship. Moca knows that max isn't all that fast, can't hear and can't see, so he sneaks up behind him and nibbles at his legs to play. I think that deep down Max enjoys it a lot. His tail never stops wagging!!

How old? 5 years old
Where do they sleep? On his belvoed hedgehog beanbag or anywhere in the sun - Ah the life of a puss

What is his or her breed? Grey and cute, distantly related to the Whiskas cat I am sure
Any special tricks/talent? He talks to my husband who claims to be the "Cat Whisperer". He has different sounds for cuddles, food, I'm too cold, let me in, etc.
What do you think your pet was in a previous life? He is a sweet tolerant thing, so maybe a sweet old bear in the woods that would ask the bees for directions to the best berrys.

Whats your pets name/names? Pocoyo Puss, Pockie

How old? Just under 1 year
Where do they sleep? The sink, On the wicker chair in the sun, or under the bed in the base.
What is his or her breed? Birman cross
Any special tricks/talent? The people that had her prior to us got her at 5 weeks of age, so she is a bit socially neurotic. She also has a beautiful squirrel tail, that if you pat she will eat you alive.
What do you think your pet was in a previous life? I think a shark, she loves water, sits in the shower or the sink and she also attacks anything that moves.
