I wish i had a camera...

No camera.
I wanted to take a picture of the man and his telescope and all of the other gadgets that allowed him and his fellow neighbours to look at the world above. Even his sign was worth the photo. Home made with his crafty man flair.
Currently Moca is asleep at my side, with his sausage dog toy.
I feel like lime cordial.
I'm in need of sleep.
The B doesn't like working on my computer.
I had Baked Beans for dinner.
I can't wait to see my family and friends over the weekend!
I love Find My Family for all of the good and bad reason.
I find Packed To The Rafters good too!!
I'm glad that the football is over, but annoyed that it still takes up so much of the paper.
I'm looking forward to having another picnic soon!

photos from the weekend. The third image I took.I really like it, thats why i'm tooting my horn.

Childhood Birthday Cakes - Mikes Week of Baking

Mum and my brother
My Birthday Cake - Cat
My Birthday Cake - Clock
My birthday cake - 4
My birthday cake - Baby
My mum and the Women's Weekly Cake book, well they were best friends!
This really is something that I remember about my childhood.
When it was nearing my birthday, mum would pull out the cake book (which I now have) and ask us which one we would like for our party cake!
Thanks a bunch Mum, this is one tradition that I will be sure to follow!!
Follow Mikes Week of Baking too!!

Banana Cake - Mike's Week of Baking

Banana Cake
IMGP1865

Bananas are YUM!!!
what you will need:

2 1/2 cups of self raising flour
3/4 of a cup of brown sugar
2eggs
50g of crushed walnuts
60 oz of butter (melted)
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
4 mashed bananas (the browner the better)

This recipe is fool proof. Put it all in a bowl and mix! If it's a little think add a touch of milk.
Pre-heat your oven at 180 wack it in for 30mins and your done!!
I like to top it off with cream cheese and walnut icing. A touch of lemon or vodka if you wish, a la brown owls boozy style, is nice.

Track your Life...

Photo from here
This one reminds me of jumping on the trampoline with overalls that had embroidery of sunflowers on the pockets. The sounds of the back beach waves crashing with the smell of Tea Trees and freesias in the air. I was 8
This one reminds me of the couples skate at the local rollerskating rink when I was 10.
This one to pump us up for a crazy night of waiting on tables over looking the most amazing view from The Deck, in Portsea I was 22.
Thanks for taking my mind back Pip

And right now the sun is on my face, I'm eating Avocado andGrape Tomatoes on Dark Rye Sough dough with grains and S&P! And I have to quickly finish this post and eat my toast before the house mates return and leave me with no hot water for a shower.
